So I made a bunch of changes with forscan, and I'm looking at getting some ECM and TCM tuning done. However I saw a note on a different forum about possibly having to revert your forscan settings back to stock in order to tune. Can anyone verify if this is the case? I'm not sure that I backed things up correctly lol.
I have ECM and TCM tuning and didn’t have to revert back to default Forscan when I did it. I guess it would depend what tunes you have and what you changed in Forscan.

No, you usually do not have to revert FORScan changes before ECM or TCM tuning. Only exception is if you changed PCM or TCM or torque or transmission related as built values then some tuners may want it returned to stock. Otherwise BCM IPC and similar tweaks will not matter.
