1990 F250 electrical problems

My 1990 F250 has electrical problems after changing the battery. The truck runs, the head and tail lights work, the dash instuments work. However the power windows, windshield wipers, radio and fan now don't work. I am also getting a warning light on the dash saying the rear anti-lock brakes are not working. Any ideas as I am at a loss.

I would check the downstream side of all fuses in the truck first, with a volt meter.

Everything worked just fine before changing the battery? Double check you have the ground to core support and chassis hooked up and tight. Did it spark real good when you hooked up the new battery? Check those fuses also.

I have looked for the fusablke links, none found. I have looked at the fuse box and the fuses and they are all good. The wibdsahield wipers radio and power windows still don't work. I am at a total loss. Though the head lights, turn signals and tail and stop lights work, and the engine starts and runs. Oh and the dashboard guages work.

The fusible links are the smaller wires on the starter solenoid. You checked all the fuses in the fuse box (driver side under dash)?

you said that already, disregard.

Did you check for voltage at the fuses, with a voltage tester?
The other commonality of these circuits is the ignition switch. What were the symptoms that led to replacing the battery? Were you having electrical issues?
Here's an in depth thread with a disassembled ignition switch. Replacement doesn't require this much disassembly though.1987+ Ford F150 Ignition Switch Basics - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums https://share.google/fRAVhZ8aaFAckEkOB
They're known to separate and cause issues. The switch can be accessed by lowering the steering column, but if you do get to that point, and your truck is an automatic, disconnect the gear indicator cable so it doesn't get damaged.

Was the switch coming apart? Was it obviously the issue? I would go to a website like rock auto and look for a quality replacement, or to your local auto parts store, and do the same. Don't cheap out on it.

FOr those who replied to me I finally got the problem solved lbut none of your thoughtful suggestions helped. It turned out to be the ignition switch that is mounted to the lower part of the steering column in the cab that had come apart. Got a new one and now things work.
