Ordered a 2026 F-250 Lariat on Friday, May 23, 2025.
I've had a 2025 on order since March 31st, and stopped at the dealership to ask for any updates on my order, as I hadn't heard anything from Ford. The dealer advised the order wasn't going to make the "cutoff date" (his words) and I saved him a phone call. I asked when I could order a 2026 and he said the order banks opened earlier that morning. 10-minutes later I signed the 2026 order summary.
The 2026 cost me a bit more money than the 2025, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Keyless Entry - Illuminated Keypad was an unexpected, but welcome optional upgrade.
May 28 - I upgraded the order to an F-350 with the 10R140 transmission. As the 3.73 Electronic-Locking Axle (which I had ordered) is standard on the F-350 and optional on the F-250, the invoice price increase was only $843.00. I don't need the extra capacities of the F-350 at this time, but that could change in the future. The saying, "Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it," seems appropriate.
Deleted with the help of gt trucking.
Did not realize that the gasser option was not available for the F450 according to this video at the 14 min 10 sec mark:
Thinking about getting a 26 also. hope they move in a timely manner
I'm hoping as well and would like to get my order in asap given everything that has been happening since the first of the year.
Really don't like where we're headed and would like to get this truck in our hands (God willing) sooner rather than later.

Probably not. Current order times to delivery have been as little as six weeks for 250 and 350, depending on engine, the HO 6.7 taking longer.
450 is a different story.
Ask about promotional pricing. My guy mentioned that some guys who had a previous truck order that could not be fulfilled could be eligible for a promotional discount. It was pretty significant... like 6k dollars!
