Long time reader and its been a bit since I have posted anything. I order a f250 CC 4x4 8 ft box on 7/7 got the email from ford 7/9 build the week of 8/11. All good news as I need to sell my 1997 f-350 CC 4x4 custom flat bed. Good luck to all that have order this summer.

I ordered a Platinum F250, short bed with the 7.3 gas on Monday, July 14. I know it's a unicorn with the gas engine and my expectations for a quick build are very low. The only options are the 3.73 e lock axle, spray bed liner, floor liners and splash guards. Ruby red.
Mine is probley a unicorn also 7.3 gas XLT with the XLT premier package 5th wheel prep also ruby red payload up grade 3.73 electric lock power mirrors. I am glad that they broke out the upgrade for XLT from the blackout package it sure opens up the some of best things that Ford does with out breaking the bank.
You guys keep thinking that your 7.3’s are unicorns, yet there are a fair number of buyers in these chats switching back from diesel to gas with the availability of the bigger V8. This now gives a reasonable alternative for those of us needing the towing power. What I would do to get my old 2006 V10 back. Loved that motor. But my 7.3 is the closest I have come since my last two 6.2’s. You made good choices.
One dealer sent me on my way when I told him I wanted to order a Platinum with the 7.3. It was the dealer I had used for my last 3 Super Duty's. The salesman said there's a reason they have nothing but diesels on their lot. I said ok, thank you and left, never to return. The salesman I had used previously had retired and this was a young guy who didn't want to listen to the customer. I went to another dealer who said whatever you want. They even let me drive a Tremor with the 7.3. I called my order a unicorn because finding a 7.3 in the higher trims is rare.
I am not say cause of the 7.3,,,,i am saying it cause of the 8 ft bed,,, all the dealers around here have the 6 3/4 ft bed that is great for some people but not me and it
seams that all they have in stock is white black or some forms of grey. they need to expand there colors.

ordered 2026 f-350 srw cc4x4sb platinum 7.3l the week orders opened. got a status update email in june with vin and build week 21 july. i guess i'll see if that holds. dealer says it's on schedule. still cannot pull up window sticker. selling my 2017 f-350 srw cc4x4sb lariat ultimate w/ 92k miles (trade offer a bit low, but close enough will take if not sold).
question: my 2017 came with the 3" to 2.5" and 2.5" to 2" reciever adapters; do the new f-350s come with the 2.5" to 2" adapters, or should i just hold onto the one i have (will it fit)?

You would think soon since they are being built as of this week. I priced mine on Kelly Blue Book as it has the 26 prices. It was spot on with the MSRP and invoice prices when I ordered.
I tweaked my order a little. Changed the color to Avalanche after I saw it in person and added in the upfitter switches. They had a ruby red Bronco and while I do like red my wife likes the Avalanche much better. I like it because lighter colors seem not to show dirt as bad as darker colors. The ruby red is a pretty deep red. Also, Avalanche with the blacked out trim on the Platinums should make a nice contrast.
