Dealer installed option trailer camera

Anybody ordered the dealer installed option trailer camera, what did the camera you receive look like? The kit I received from the dealer looks like this and my sticker shows I was charged $475 for something that is available on the website for $370...

I also ordered a TRAILER MOUNTED CAMERA WITHOUT PRO TRAILER BACKUP ASSIST for $445

https://accessories.ford.com/super-d...mounted-camera

which was sent to my trailer manufacturor and installed on the trailer since I needed it before my truck was delivered to the dealer. I've hooked it up to the new truck and it works fine, I was just expecting the more expensive kit that came with the truck to be pretty much the same kit. The wiring kit that came with the trailer mounted camera kit is a tiny thing, looks about the size of the camera that is by the third brake like. The camera that came with the kit I ordered from Ford Accessories is much larger. The wiring harnesses are also not the same.

Anyone else had the same experience?

I ordered the whole package for my F450 (camera and TPMS) and what came was indeed the same one in the bottom link. I am in the process of installing the whole kit in my 5th wheel and I ordered a 25' TPMS extension harness and large valve stem adapters from Nichols Manufacturing and welding. Since I have commercial tires and large valve stem holes on my GD, I need to put the TPMS sensor in between the axles and I needed the adapter for my wheels.

I did not order the camera kit with the truck because I could get it cheaper through Ford accessories and I could use my Ford Pass points to off-set the cost.

I have the second one, installed it myself. That first one just looks to be an updated version for 23 & 24.
Mine works well, but dont use that trailer very much.

The first link you have is for the “new” camera the second link is for the “old” camera. The second one has been out since around 2017/18 MY trucks. The question I have if you have time can you connect the new one and see if the resolution is any better. The old style has low resolution like the third brake light camera. I am hoping they improved the resolution with the new camera.

I'll have to look at the top of the trailer and see where the connector is to see if I can swap them out without taking half the trailer apart lol.
