Can anyone tell me what differential this is please

Hey folks

I think I have a frankenstein 1971 ford f250 and don't know too much about these older model trucks.
Anyone know what differential this is and what trucks had it over the years?

I recently got the diff cleaned/flushed and that created a leaky pinion seal condition.
Replaced the pinion seal and its leaking again but very minor drops. Need to know if they filled from the right hole, vent is working properly.

It is just a plain Jane Dana 60 used in F-250/350's until 1985, I think, and Econo's until 2014. The spring pads were moved outward due to rear frame widening in 73 for 2wd's F-250/350's, and 77 for 4wd F-250's. IIRC to 72, they had 16 spline axle shafts, whereas in 73 they went to stronger 30? spline shafts.
You can find the Bill Of Material (BOM) number to check your axle ratio with that of the door tag:

If you have any up and down play in driveshaft. You will need to take out some shims that are behind the bearing at the pinion seal. That will tighten up the bearing preload of a worn bearing and take out the play in the shaft.

Rich is correct as long as it's the factory installed rear end. I don't see a tag on it. That would have told what it is. Did the P.O. give you any receipts?
