F 450 Limited Badging

Hi All,
I have a new 2024 F-450 Limited. The build number is on the center console arm rest with vin number.
My question is, does this unique number show up anywhere else on the vehicle? I have heard it might be in a couple of other places.
Is there anything else kind of secret that makes it special?

Thanks

All that is, is a special badge to make you feel good about spending a LOT of money on a reduced use truck (at least for the F150 it is). The VIN is the VIN and will be in several places on the truck, the build number is on that badge.

Wow, way to try and cut the guy down. By that logic everyone should drive a XL trim truck.

I don't have any insight on any other locations that have the build number, but I hope the OP enjoys his Limited truck!

^^. There’s a lot of that on this forum. I’d love to get my 450 Limited built that I’ve been waiting 2 years for.

Doubt it. The laser etching on my console badge was out of whack. Cant even read the VIN number. Build number is clear text, ODD.

Only thing special about the much more expensive Limited is the freaking badge on the console. The leather is no better than what is in the Platinum. So for an extra $10K what makes the limited more special than the Platinum? No hate, I just see it as a waste of money for a badge and blue seat covers.

Limited has additional standard items that are paid options on a Platinum. The options will add about $5,000 to a base Platinum. So the real difference is still about $5,000, which is a lot to pay for the advantage of having a Limited.
Standard on Limited and optional on Platinum:
!- The 6.7 L High Output diesel
2- A powered moonroof
3- some extra bling items like lighting etc.

When you trade in you will get about 1/2 of the $5,000 back in trade value over a Platinum.

Assuming someone is poor because they don't waste their money on $40k worth of options they don't need is pretty ignorant. The trolls here seem to be the people with their noses up in the air.

When you option a (SRW) Platinum to be as close to the Limited as allowed, the cost difference is only a couple grand (actually around $4k in the 450 for some reason). For that couple grand you get all the unique trim pieces, unique color scheme, lighted sill plates, different headliner material, and Ford does call the Limited seating material "Premium Luxury Leather" vs just "Leather" for the Platinum.

Not saying it's for me, but I can see the appeal of the Limited for someone who wants all the standard features it provides and likes the unique bits it includes. The badge is the least impressive part of the whole thing to me though.

I probably would have pestered the dealer about having a new badge made. Something that is front and center in the interior of a top-trim truck should be better than that.

I always thought if they are going to call something a "limited" there should be a set limit on the number of them built that year. Then there is at least some known level of exclusivity for the people putting their money down on it. 1000 of each F-250, F-350, and F-450 or something.

Pretty Sure, Platinum, KR and Limited are all Limited considering how hard it is to get one. I ordered my KR DRW in October of 2022 and didn't get it as a '24 until Jan of 2024. Seems pretty Limited to me
