Does anyone know if the seat harness in a 2016 F250 XL will power a power seat? I have an opportunity to purchase some really nice King Ranch Leather Seats. My seats now are manual, but they have a harness running to them. I suspect it is for the air bag and seat belt minder. I know the heat will not work, but curious if the power adjustment may with this harness. I have already added auto headlights, flat screen radio with controls and the instrument cluster.
on my 13 I put in a power driver seat as well as a full console.
the wires were not there for them I had to swap the whole harness.
look at the plug on the seat if there are more than 4 wires id say the power is there if not then no power
on a 6 way seat
you should have a hot wire on pin 21 and a ground on pin 16 that is all that is needed for power the seat
Nice. I can see if the guy that has the seats will sell me the harness. I wonder if I can get that from Ford? I guess I could supply power to the seat from an empty upfitter switch. Or just run a fused power wire from the ignition.
on my truck all the fuses etc were in the fuse boxes for the seats as well as the console and power outlets added.
the seat power comes from plug c210 witch is by the steering column.
the whole cab harness goes from by the column then down the driver side then across under the front seats to the pass side kick panel, and to the pass side rear.
basically as shown here it plugs into all 4 doors, rear speakers, 3rd brake light, bcm as well as some other places this is a reg cab, but nothing else to the rear other than the 2 doors
to install I had all my seats out, all the trim off the lower kick panels front to rear , the steering column out, all but the floor mat I just rolled it back.

Reason: clarification
I did it on my 02 xl as well swapped to 07 lariat power seats I had the connections and about 2 feet of wire. Wires came from passenger seat go under floor mat to drivers seat then to door sill and up to back of fuse panel. There was no plug in the back of fuse panel where the power seats would normally plug into so I used 2 female spade connectors and wired into the back as if it was factory wired. Pretty simple
YEA I THOUGHT OF THAT TOO. I HAVE FORSCAN SO IF ANYTHING WOULD NEED TO BE ENABLED I COULD DO THAT.
THIS IS WAY CHEAPER TO DO THAN SPEND AN ADDITIONAL 10K ON A LARIAT PACKAGE. AND HAVE JUST AS NICE OF A TRUCK. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT AND WAIT FOR THE RIGHT DEAL TO COME ALONG.
after replacing the cab harness did you have to program or activate anything or did power seats just work?
