Hankook Tires any good?

Vehicle was delivered with Hankook tires...never owned them before.

Generally, are these of respectable quality with regard to ride and life expectancy as compared to Michelin which I would prefer? Hard to tell if they are performing well or what kind of ride they are giving when the roads are full of potholes and temp is -25degrees this time of year.

Good enough to run them out. I have them in the 20 inch size. I did pick up a nail in one but otherwise they are quiet, smooth and will hold in corners far longer than any passenger will tolerate. And they were fine on my power line road misadventure. Running 40 PSI.

My Lariat similar to yours has 11k miles on the Hankooks. I don't drive as much as many of you do but I see getting at least 30k miles out of them. My 13' had 40k on the Michelins when I sold it and more to go.
I keep mine at 55 psi and they lose about 10 psi in about 3 months and I don't know if its tires or rims. All aluminum wheels leak some and it doesn't bother me much.
Not sure what I will replace them with but I too like Michlens.

Great tires. I owned a few sets on other trucks. If I can save $100 by buying Hankooks over Michelin’s I would do it every time

They are good tires. I put a set of the ATMs on my wife's '12 and we got 60k out of them, they also still had around 6/32 tread left but I wanted her to have new tires for winter. I put another set on and the tires had 20k on them when we traded it and still looked like new. Her '18 has them also.

You keep your tires inflated to 55 PSI?

First set I’ve had is on my current 2018 F-150. Very satisfied.
Ive had Michelin’s on two trucks. Never again. They are okay at best in rain, but snow, they suck.
55psi in a tire on an F-150 is too much IMO. I run 42 in my Dynapros, and at 21k, I’m betting I’ll get 50k easy. All highway. I’m hoping to pull them off in another 10k to put them on my sons truck, but if I trade this oil burner off, I may switch them soon. Point is, the Hancook Dynapro has been good enough for me that I’ll easily trade them to my son for his use over his Crapinentals.

We are all different but I run the tires on all my cars or trucks at the Maximum listed on the tire and have never had a problem, My wife's Honda Civic coupes get 40. I believe in rolling resistance and buy the highest tread wear listed. Minimunum is 500 or higher. My trailer tires get 70 and have a maximum of 80 on the tire...

X2. After 10K on my 2018 with the Michelin Primacy tires it came with, I'd gladly swap them for nearly anything else. Marginal at best in the rain and absolutely helpless in the snow. Why Ford would deliver a truck to the northeast with these tires on it is beyond comprehension.

I run 40psi in the hankooks in my wife's truck. I used to set them higher but it seemed like the centers were wearing a little faster than the edges.

On equipment that tows all the time I max the tires out but for stuff that occasionally tows/hauls I adjust the pressure for the task at hands

I had them (Dynapro) from the factory on my 2015, they wore well and I ran 40 psi. My 2018 has Michelins "off road", what a joke, tires. They run ok and are quite just not not much of an off road tire in my opinion! I would have rather had the Dynapro's. I will either get Dynapro or BFG all terrain when I replace them. I don't do much off road just mainly gravel / dirt roads. When I go fishing, I would like something a little more aggressive.

Wow, never thought so many would like them. I lived with the DynaPro AT/m's for 8800 miles, they were NOT going to be on it for a 2nd winter. Poorest excuse of a tire I've ever had other than a straight highway type in the snow. I had to use 4X4 to get through stuff my RWD, LSD, Ranger would go through with DuraTracs and 320# in the back.
They rode good, low noise, handled adequately in the rain/dry. Wore god at 35psi.
Replaced with the new GoodYear UltraTerrains made for Discount tire. No looking back, I won't use Handycrap Dynajunk AT/maybe ever again. They won't even leave the dealer on my next truck if they come on it.

2400 miles on mine so far riding on the factory 20” sport rims.
I did experience the lane wandering with them when all four were 38-39 psi cold set by the factory.

Door jam sticker says 35 per so I lowered psi to match and the low speed lane wandering disappeared.

Quiet and smooth so far both city and highway

Had Hankook MTs on my old Superduty all four had to be replaced one at a time due to belts coming undone developed large softball size knots on tires. Longest lasting of the bunch still had a third of its tread left. I’m sure they’re a good company but I’ll never buy Hankook again. Although I might inadvertently as different tire brands seem to come from the same real manufacturer.
