1991 F-150 Bed Insulators or bushings???

Ok, so I'm doing some work to the truck replacing rockers, cab corner, etc. etc... When I went to put my new cab bushings in, I noticed that my body lines were off by about an inch between the cab and the bed. Are there a bushing of sorts between the bed and the frame or is it just an "insulator" of sorts? I doubt an insulator will make up that much of a difference. I can upload pictures later if need be but its an obvious difference. It's literally an inch or so. Thanks in advance.

I don`t believe there any bushings between box and frame, unless someone put them there, most likely supports on bed or cab are crushed or rotted and sagging

Definitely no bushings between the box and the frame. Pics would help us help you.

When I replaced my bed there were thin vinyl washer/insulators between frame & bed at every bolt. Maybe to try & prevent squeaking?

Last time I removed a bed from a 96 there were metal shims (Lobster Claws) on each bolt. These would act as a kind of shim...I don't believe every truck had them, though.

My '97 F350 has the plastic at every bolt also.
