I have looked and looked for a hood for my 57 ford f150 could be used or new any help would be appreciated..

No F150's until 1975.

Hood is the same: 1957/58 F100/600.

 

I looked for a hood for 2 years. You probably will find a few in rough shape, to find a nice hood will take time. Patience my friend.

 

Don't know where you're located, but on my last trip up to ID, I found a huge junkyard outside of Wendell. At least a dozen nearly complete 57-60's. Got the feeling when talking to them that they might be kind of expensive, but plenty of good body parts available. According to google maps it's called L&L Classic Auto.
