Why does my 17 f250 sit an inch and a half lower in front

I just purchased a 2017 F250 6.7 4x4 lariat and I noticed it’s siting lower in the front. After going to the local dealership and measuring other trucks, the front of mine sits an inch and a half lower than others. The rear is the same though. This is measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well. The truck does have the high capacity tow and FX4 package. Wheels are 20 inch with 275s. Crew cab with the standard bed. No snow plow prep. Is the front lowered since it has that package for heavier loads so it levels out? Is this something I can adjust?

Gas or diesel? Snow plow prep or no? A lot of variables could cause it. Tire and wheel options will affect it also with your measuring method.

Question

Tell us more about your truck:

1) Wheel and tire sizes
2) Wheelbase and/or cab and bed configuration (i.e.,, crewcab with long bed)

Thx,
Jim / crewzer

According to some replies in this thread the snow plow package adds an inch or so in height in the front.

Shoot ok so it must be because it doesn’t have the snow plow prep package. What is my best option going forward, I wanted to level the truck. So do I get the springs that come with the SPP or do it get springs that would be the same as the SPP with a leveling kit?

If you’re looking to level or get real close to level the plow prep package won’t get you there. I have the package as I run a heavy plow but my truck definetly has a couple inches of rake.

Sorry I meant to say should I get the stiffer springs and then level. Or should I leave the springs now and get maybe a 3-4 inch lift kit to level it?

If you are going to level it anyways, don't worry about it. Level it, and call it a day.

The rear is 3-3 1/2 inches higher. What leveling kit would lift the front that much, thanks for the help.
