I’m having trouble determining if there was a shift boot used on the T98 floor shift and where I can get one?
Thru 1960: No T-98 parts catalog listing for a shift boot excepting 1950/52 F5/F6 Cab Over Engine (7W-7242-B) // 1953/56 C500/900 Cab Forward (B6TW-7242-A).

Thank you NumberDummy, maybe the floor mat doubled as a shift boot.
Thanks, Chris. Yes the seat material is original. But the mat is a reproduction.
a pic of my seat after I had the red vinyl sides replaced and after I painted the seat brackets and runners.
This is the cover that I had in my '56 with a T98. I doubt it was original. I ended up cutting a circle from 3/4" plywood and covering with black vinyl as a spacer, and then used a Mr. Gasket #1651 shifter boot and trim ring.
