In regards to build time, Ford's tracking websites, both active and no longer available state(d):


So, my definition of a few is 3-5, maybe even 6-7. My truck has now been in production since 10/5. That is 10 days! For the past five days I have been checking the status a few (3-5) times a day hoping for a change. I am getting the spray-in bed liner so I know that adds a couple days. The delivery date has changed three times since I placed the order but has remained at 11/3 since production started. I have little hope that I will get my truck then.

Is this an excessive wait or am I just being impatient?

 

I would say mine was in production 5-7 days and I did not have a spray in liner. The ETIS website will update with the actual production date and it will back date a few days. Example- ETIS updates on the 17th to show that the actual build date was the 15th. It will then take a few more days to fully populate all fo the options that the truck was built with.

 

I had the 17th that backdated to 14th of September. Truck arrived on dealer lot on the 12th. Waiting for rustproofing and dealer prep. Hoping to see it tomorrow. Everything updates slow. The JCS portal showed no movement and then suddenly a delivered notice.

 

My truck is built! It was completed yesterday and was delivered to the Norfolk Southern rail yard this morning.
