X-Force Varex Exhaust
Anyone using this brand exhaust. The cost compared to the big guys seems reasonable, and it includes the key-fob operated valve to run the exhaust open through a straight flow-through muffler, or closed to run through the chambered portion of the muffler for louder operation.
The system on the 5.0L sounds great closed, but I question the longevity of the valve operation with the sooty direct injection.
Any thoughts?

Honestly I would wonder about the longevity on any engine. These use a standard valve like an exhaust cutout uses, and I've heard from several people that those usually end up leaking in the closed position due to soot buildup. I suppose a leak wouldn't be as severe with these mufflers but still would give you less control over the sound.

if it was a manual cable cut-out like the 60's, maybe, but not for this guy. I'm going S-Type or Ford Performance if my dealer can make me a deal.
