I`m about to buy a used 15 Nav and was thinking of doing the same. Do you happen to have the part numbers needed lying around? I wou=rk at a For dealer so I may be able to get new ones for cheap (hopefully) if not ebay is my friend

Thanks forthe help. So any SYNC 3 apim will work and any screen? How do I program it to my vehicle?

Update: Found a sync 3 APIM and screen from a Flex for 500$ shipped and I also ordered the wire harness. Just need to order the antenna and wait for the truck LOL. Thanks for your help SoylentSaxgod. I might need more when I need to program it to my truck.

I just saw the preprogrammed radio’s for $1500 & figured there has to be a better way, glad I found this thread! So will any Sync 3 radio fit or do I need one out of a Superduty?

The one I got is out of a flex. I jumped the gun a bit, my nag is only coming in next month. Customer is waiting for his new 2018.
