You would be better off finding a 5 gal bucket of unicorn tears with the bottom of the bucket covered with 2 lbs of solid gold hens teeth. lol I find them every so often, I sale them on FTE when I have extras. I have 2 in stock, 1 for a 77 and one for a 78/79. I am holding them for match patterns if I can find a shop that has the capability to reproduce properly.

I have a long list of FTE folks wanting them. You do know there is a difference in the 77 and the 78/79 mounting (specifically the top brackets, versus the bumper style). FYI you might be able to locate one that fit on a 78/79 Bronco. That is where I got the black bumper/guard. Yea I know it a 77 truck and a 78/79 bumper, but the guard was welded to the bumper, so I just bolted it on and went with it.

Oh you mean these? Neither are mine, the $300 is the going rate for them. The 1st one has light brackets available too. YES pricey but hard to locate for sure. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...asher&_sacat=0

Have you placed a WTB add here? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum240/

I seem to remember ranger429 https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/member.php?u=98852 being a cactus smasher guy with one on a VERY NICE 79 Bronco and he might have a lead on one and even some switches and maybe a set of the Marchal lights?

Have a local shop make you one. New thicker DOM too. I see them every so often at the JY and ususally as the name says, Smashed!!I pass them up as none has been resale worthy. If you get one at least add another strut to the hoop like a prerunner(I understand its not original, although there were racers in the day that had them that way) it would be stronger as well.

X2 on just get one made...you better find a shop with some serious fab machinery, if you do not want the bottom 90* to be all bunched up on the inside of the bend.

A regular muffler shop is not going to have that tools to do it right. And FYI that one in the pic is for a 77.

A little more info on it. Thanks HIO for the measurements. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post16662932

any shop with a mandrel bender can do it in 2"x .120. if you want .25" wall, the shops become scare as they need the HD dies and the bigger hydraulic cylinder. Never muffler bend unless that is your only option, it will crease the bend even if you old school sand fill it(anyone remember that!!!!!)

I can't believe that some people would be willing to pay that much for those fog lights. $350 is nuts.

I just got out of olkd school BMX collecting. I only did the 70searly80s 26" bikes. You cant imagine what some of these guys are paying for some of the (rarer stuff) wiuld make those lights look cheap! Then again if you gotta have it. Myself I like the vintage Hellas that we got off the 79 Bronco. Now is I can ever get the led converted!!!
