New 2018 F350 6.7 owner

After reading, shopping and researching off an on for almost a year I finally made the decision to purchase a new Super Duty. I owned my 2008 F350 6.4 SB SRW 2WD for almost 10 years. It was a solid dependable truck that pulled my 35' Fifth wheel where we wanted trouble free. The only repair I had on it was the EGR valve, lower radiator hose, and coolant hose. I followed the tips I read on this forum on how to properly maintain the 6.4 religiously. I did tune and delete it a few years ago including cold air intake which was the best thing for the 6.4. When the 2017 was introduced I said to myself, I had to have it. A couple weeks ago I started shopping more seriously and ended up at Castrucci Ford in Alexandria, KY. Mike Routt was my sale person and was he a pleasure to deal with. Helped me find the perfect truck with the options I had to have in the final price range I needed to be at. I took delivery of it last Thursday and Friday we drove it Cumberland Lake for a weekend stay in a cabin. The weather wasn't very cooperative dumping freezing rain and a snow on the highways. With cars sliding around me and losing control, this new truck stayed planted on the road going 45 to 50mph. What impressed me even more is that I never switched to 4H. What! My old truck would have never made that drive in 2wd. The couple I was traveling with didn't believe me until we pulled up to the cabin and he seen my rear wheels spin. This thing is a beast but drives smooth as butter. I hope this truck is as good to me as my 2008.

I know everyone has seen them over and over but I just have to post a picture.

Sitting next to old faithful,

Nice new pickup, it makes the 6.4 look like a toy! I hope it treats you well!

I sure hope so. I purchased a Ford ESP premium 7yr/100k warranty. I’m at least good for the next 7 yrs.

Thanks. It’s Ruby Red. It’s cloudy so it looks a little darker.

I have the same exact truck! But fortunately I'm many miles away in NH so you won't have to see your clone often. Congrats and enjoy.

Wow you're truck is clean. We drove it down to Cumberland lake 2 days after I took delivery.

Haha, yeah in that picture I had just washed it. Been plowing with it all day yesterday, looks like garbage this morning.
