I thought about it, but I cheaped out and cut 2 2x4's and slid them in the slots on the bed sides. Much easier to remove and store as well.
I also attached bike fork mounts to the top of one of the boards to hold our bikes in place while hauling them.
FordMan - I was just thinking about making a bike fork mount after wrestling bikes and ratchet straps for a biking event. Any chance you could post a pic?
I use bike fork mounts on a 2x6 board in my F150 and it works well. I'm thinking when I get my F250 I will make a holder out of PVC so I don't have to take the wheels off.
Gi made a bike rack out of two 2*4s that sit across the box, front and back with set of two 2*4s longitudinally between for each bike. Mine seats the front or back tire of 4 bikes and has a larger space for the Genny. It also doubles as a rack like the original OP posted to stop stuff sliding around. I move it from front of box to back of the box depending on needs.
Ford FLZ-9900092-A bed partition. I know the description says it is for the F-150 but has anyone tried it in a Superduty?
It is my understanding that this will not work in a Super Duty. I believe the inside bed dimensions are different between the 150 and the Super Duties.
I have been waiting to see one of these come out for the Super Duty.
As soon as I see them out I'll be ordering as the generic ratchet one I am using is inadequate. Nothing but curvy roads around here and things in the bed are in a constant state of movement.

Sure thing. Nothing fancy. The rear tires sit perfectly inside the grooves in the bed to help hold the bike steady in the back.
