Wheels, tires, hub caps

Hello All,
I just aquired a 1966 F250 Good Humor truck. I am in search of 4 correct wheels, hub caps and cottect tire size. Currently, the truck has chrome, aftermarket 16" rims (not sure of the width) with 31x10.5 tires. Help please!

1959/66 F250's came with 8 lug 16" x 5" (edit: 16" x 6") 'innie' wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle as standard equipment.

The 1961/66 F250 'innie' painted argent hubcap looks identical to the 1961/66 F100 'innie' hubcap, but the F250 hubcap is 10 1/2" diameter, while the F100 hubcap is 9 1/2" diameter.

These F250 hubcaps are very hard to find.

Innie = So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.

1959/66 F250 2WD's came with 6.50-16 bias ply tires.

I'll "pick a small nit", Bill, on that size. It's a 16" x 6.00". It is K-H 43552 / Ford B9TZ 1015-A, and was the primary F-2/F-250 wheel going back to 1948. There are four others that were optional and equally correct. They are:

16" x 5.50" two part semi-drop center, Budd 60880 / Ford B7TZ 1007-A.
17" x 5.50" two part widow maker RH-5°, Budd 49380 / Ford 7RY 1007.
17.5" x 5.25" tubeless one piece, Budd 73240 / Ford B8D 1015-A.
19.5" x 5.25" tubeless one piece, Budd 71410 / Ford B6D 1015-B. Stu

You're correct, my eyes wandered up to the next line where it says B4TZ-1007-A 16 x 5 .. for an F100.

I said 1959/66, because B9TZ reflects 1959.

Post #2 edited to fix it...

Part number changes are puzzling sometimes. The original K-H number for the 16" x 6.00" was 31282 and Ford number 7RD 1015-B. That Ford number is still in the 11/58 Ford Chassis Catalog. As you say Ford's number change signifies 1959, but the K-H and Ford numbers remain unchanged until May 1961 in various industry references, then change to the current numbers in January, 1962. What changed about that wheel is a head scratcher. Stu

Wheels

I'd rather stay with the 16" split rim, but radial tires are a must. 227/75/16 looks like a good fit. If anyone knows of Ford truck meets in the norteast, I'll travel if necessary
