Dakota Digital VHX gauges

Is there anyone else here using these gauges in their trucks. I'm having a hard time getting a proper reading on my speedometer and gas gauge..

Is it accurate..? Mine is reading faster than what I'm traveling and the needle bounces back and forward. We did the Auto Calculate then tried fine tuning it by using the GPS and that was insane and ended up doing the auto cal again . I have a new sending unit for a Bronco that is 73-10 ohm and neither one of the set Ford settings work..

I have their speed sender on the transmission that converts from cable drive to pulses set to normal as per instructions. I think I'll be spending a lot of time talking with the tech people...

I have vss so used measure mile that I marked with my 16 SD f250. So I tied into the sender/computer it's a 2 wire you should have a 3 wire I had the terminals wrong that is what you should ck first, my speed is close. Rereading your post it is working just bouncing, mine is very stable

I'm going to go over my wiring again tomorrow. Did you just run one wire to your tank and ground the tank to the frame or run the ground wire with the signal wire to the control box. I twisted the 2 wires together from the sending unit to the control box, I'm wondering if I should change that..

The only wires I twisted were the vss line, I only used one wire to the fuel sender terminal Chuck did a lot of the early stuff on the set up

I think I might remove the ground that I carried up to the box and ground the sending unit to the frame out back and see if that helps before calling the tech guys. I really like the look of these gauges but not having these ones working properly could get me into a little trouble...lol

I have Dakota Digital cluster in my 56 but it's not the VHX version. I did buy that VHX system for my 40 Ford however and had pretty good luck with getting it dialed in. That said, I haven't driven it yet but I did run it with the wheels up off the deck and the speedo did go up and down with the RPMs of the engine. I am amazed at how technology has made our vehicles more reliable and fun to drive while still preserving the vintage look and feel.

These gauges look pretty nice lit up and they do have all the bells and whistles, I'm going to change the grounds on the fuel sending unit tomorrow, not sure about the speedo though..

Speedo wires need separation from hi voltage/ current wires.
The SPD+ terminal is the power for the speed sensor double ck that one (that was my problem I was connected to it and should not have been) working low light and can't see that good

I just read the troubleshooting and at the top they talk about the grounds and I know you have grounded it good just saying
