Camper special 4x4?
I am not too familiar with the bumps. Did the factory produce a 4x4 that's a Camper Special?

There were only 4X2 C/S in "Regular Production" as far as I know. But back then Ford had less of a problem special building things. I wouldn't "call out" the owner of that rig until I looked underneath it for the camper pre-wire connector. If it's there I believe it is a factory C/S. If it's not there then the owner simply applied C/S emblems.

This truck has it, but is it factory or was the 4WD swapped in? Without the VIN, there's no way to know.
'Course, as you said, the Camper Special badges may have been added. They are correct for 1970/72, but that doesn't mean they were there originally.
Ad says it has a 390, but the only V8 factory installed in 1968/76 F100/250 4WD's was the 360 2V
So, the old adage applies: On sale day, 360's magically become 390's!
btw: This truck has the wrong mirrors on it. 1967/72 Camper Specials came with Western Jr. mirrors with the 3rd 'steady rest' arm as part of the package.
WHOA! Look at the pic of the instrument cluster. Camper Specials as part of the package, came with Oil & Amp GAUGES. I don't see either.
