1970's F-150 -- F-350 Caterpillar engine swap?

I know I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE who has seen the video on YouTube of the 1973 F250 with a 3208 Caterpillar engine swapped into it right? Here's the link: https://youtu.be/AOABHUAmhJI
If you have seen the video, tell me what you think about it. I want someone to find this guy and/or the truck and I want a build history for the truck. It would be awesome to see the amount of engineering, fabrication, innovation, and MONEY needed to accomplish the build. Probably the coolest swap I've ever seen into one of my favorite classic Ford trucks!

AutoWorld did a 6 cyl. Cat in one a few years ago, basically said it was a 1-off custom for a particular customer and they wouldn't do it again.

As far as swapping a 3208, not one of my favorite motors...... not great power-to-weight, not that efficient, etc.

I think it is cool someone did that swap, but you would be way further ahead with a Cummins IMO.
I bet they had to really slice up the firewall to fit that thing.

I know a guy who made that swap in a PU in the '80's. The 3208 was a great medium duty truck engine in its day (70's, 80's). With 10 liter displacement it is really heavy for a PU. Also power by today's standards is modest. Typically rated up to 210 HP naturally aspirated and 240 HP turbo.

May not be the ideal candidate today for a PU swap based on weight.

I swapped in another 351M in place of the one I pulled out that still ran with 350 plus thousand miles, and this one is at a little over 200K now.

Real simple, straight forward "swap", with a mild cam, intake, headers and ignition, makes a around 325HP, pulls anything I need it to, and doesn't require expensive fuel, long warmups, diesel smell and months of fab work.

This has to be 1 of the dumbest swaps ever. I mean why put an old 70s engine in that weights a 1200 lbs. Why? But its your truck do what you want and have fun.
