Does your truck have a name?
I kinda thought a thread to share what we name our trucks, and the stories behind the names, might make for a fun topic to dovetail with the thread we have to share pics of our trucks.
With that said, if you're like me and into naming your vehicles, let's hear your truck's name and how it got its name! Needless to say, I'll start....
My F-150 is named "Hellfreezer 2." It might be self-evident to say it's named after my first ever pickup truck, which was a '94 S-10 which I named the "Hellfreezer." The S-10 got its name simply because for years before I got it, I often would say Hell would freeze over before I ever owned a Chevy...lol. But I'll be damned if I didn't grow surprisingly fond of the S-10, so much so that I decided from now on each truck I own will carry the "Hellfreezer" namesake, regardless of make.

I had an '01 F250 4x4 Lariat Crew Cab 7.3 that was named "Big Red" and decided to purchase a '13 F150 4x4 XLT Super Crew 5.0 to be it's replacement. I had both trucks for a short time before selling the F250 outright. I named the F150 "Bubba" as it is Big Red's "little brother". "Bubba" has some big shoes to fill, but has been doing well so far. My wife has a '13 Ruby Red Metallic Escape SE. We named it "Little Ruby". My work vehicle, an '05 Explorer XLT, is called "Charlie Brown", also because of its color.

For a number of years, my wife and I both drove Subarus, so naming our cars almost became a necessity to avoid confusion. You couldn't exactly say "The Subaru needs gas," since that didn't narrow things down all that much...lol. Hence, mine was the "Silver Tank" and hers became the "Flagship."
