I am planning on a trip to leadhill Arkansas in the spring . My bigger plan also that is why I'm not cleaning the engine is next fall I am FINALLY going to do an engine build. My budjet and work load right now just don't Involve messing with drivetrain. It works somewhat well enough for now. And besides,I really want to go meet the guys at BTS.

Ahh just brainstorming how to spend every dollar I can spare on this crap box for the rest of my life...

Newest debacles are

A) what steps to do? Power?rock slider type with hoop steps?

B) sell the sky 3" rsk and order a pmf 2.25" and u code springs...send the sky off with the pile of parts for powder....?!?!?!
Sure would love better ride and lower ride height...I would remove the 1/2" rear shim and the front should come down 1 1/4" from what I read ...

What's the max height a fiver can be towed as far as bed height?!?!

I like the idea of power steps. Few trucks around here have them and they are sweet. Expensive though and they apparently don't make them for our trucks. You have to buy a set for a Chevy and go from there.

You need six inches between the 5er and bed. Most hitches can be raised and lowered and the 5er can be raised (don't know about lowered). Also most pin boxes (king pins) have adjustments on them.
