Lol, I would say I got photo bombed by a Barbie car lol.

It was such a good weekend. Got to go hang out with Tania and her husband. On the way home we even got to see one of the Patties and her Husband as the other half of our west Virginia family. It was great to visit but now it is back to the grind.

Aaron, is the starter a direct swap? Did you have to do any wiring?

Aaron, why the front and rear axle bearings? Just because of the mileage?

Rock, if your talking about the SD starter, its a direct swap but only has two bolts. Just put a little 'blue' on the two bolts. Wiring is the same.

The rear had a carrier bearing spun a bit and when they blasted it they peppered the front pinion cup . The front I have to swap pinion shim to the new pinion because I'm swapping from 3.55 to 4.10. it just in my head was time to buy both kits and make both like new.

I drove the new DD today to work. It's not perfect nor done but close enough. A few things tonight and I'm hopefully going to work on Clifford this weekend

I'm not gonna say I have gotten what I would like to like to have but any progress is good.

Threw the turbo back on enough to see how this is going to look. Of course I discovered my bandsaw blade broken so no cutting till tomorrow.
Nugget reinstalled and new reduction SD style starter installed.
I got a lot of cleaning of axle parts done. Harvested the pinion out of the other d60 and swapped ring gears over to my carrier.
Not pictured but rotors mounted to doolie hubs.
I moved the bed over and got it off the trailer. I'm hoping to stand the bed on it's nose and prep for paint along with cab.
Monday hopefully I will get down to the powder coater and pick up a whole bunch of parts...stuff fixing to happen up in here!!!

Love the progress. If it would stop snowing, I might be able to make some of my own! At least I can live vicariously through this project for now.

Yeah but once this weather breaks you will end up with a list of all the little things that need done but not enough time to do all of them!
