Have been wondering to myself if I should make some sort of announcement out here
but it seems people have already noticed and it's been just over 24 hours at this point.

Yeah, I was approached some time ago and asked if I was interested in the job and I
accepted, it will at least keep me from buggin' some of the other mods to ask 'em to go
do some sticky maintenance or whatnot.

Heh.... Ya know, what I really want to do is find some more pictures from when that pic
was taken and add 'em to the Mug Shots thread (the original from which that avatar was
cropped is up there along with another from the same event) in a way to explain the pic
in my avatar. But, for whatever reason, I haven't been able to find the ones I'm lookin' for
and so I've generally just remained quiet despite all the ribbing I've gotten for that thing.

The topic has come up again so I'll explain a bit here....

That pic was taken at a birthday party in Kondopoga, Russia in 2002. If you know
anything about Russians, you know they like to drink alcohol. (I, BTW, don't drink, but
let's just say they were all more than a bit tipsy.)

In any event, one of the games we played was similar to what we know in the U.S. as
Musical Chairs - everybody has to perform some action until the music stops, at which
point everybody must perform some different action, and one person WILL lose. The
"loser" had to reach into a brown, paper bag and grab an (unseen) article of clothing to
put on; when I lost, I ended up pulling the bra, and, of course, there needed to be
pictures of such an event, right?

I made it my avatar on the suggestion of one of the site's Super Moderators (actually,
horsepuller, now an FTE Administrator) because, well, hey, nobody else has got one like
it + I'm comfortable enough in my own sexual identity to not be worried about what
others may think + this place is for fun & recreation away from The Real World, so, why
not?

Besides, can't you see that one strap is missing?

At any rate, thanks again for the congrats, I hope to not let you guys down, feel free to
get a hold of me if there's anything you think I should be (or not be) doing, OK?
