When I look at the map I see a name that just sticks out in the center. Bryan. There are some outliers but for the Houston and DFW areas, it is about 100 miles away. We could do it at Lake Bryan. I am from Bryan, and used to go to the lake all the time so I know it is a good place to go and a good size for us. Check it out. Lake Bryan and the Lakeside Icehouse Has an icehouse restaurant too. The other place I would look at too is Lake Belton in Belton. I have never been but I have heard good things. Looks like Waco would not be to bad either.

I voted for when the kids were out so they can go to. Poor kids did not get to do to much last year because work was so hectic. I am MAKING time for them this year.

Good plan - but unfortunately for us, we'll be in NC pretty much the whole month of June. We'd love to come, but we'll have to plan earlier next time.
