Yes I know of a few drive line places that can do that, but I think it is the wrong axle shaft in the 1st place. And I am 99.9999 sure the ring gear bearings are toast. I just need to swap out the complete axle for the built up and upgraded Dana 44 I have setting in the shop. Just need the time and motivation. Once day ...some day.
I actually am thinking about trying to sell the Bruggy AND the Wingman in a seperate deal. But in the mean while the Bruggy's engine MIGHT come out and go IN the red Bronco. But only if the guy just wants the Bruggy frame (really just for the title and glove box door w/tag). But it will have the lower running gear and drive train (minus the motor). I have a guy that is selling his jeep to get an early Bronco, I am just waiting on the phone call and say he is ready to come buy the Wingman.

Wing man sets, still no luck getting a OEM passenger front long shaft. The 74-?-76 OEM axle shaft is hard to locate. Also not any real time to dig deeper in to the high possibilities that the R&P 3rd member bearings being shot. And definiatily no time to do that planned complete front axle swap. For the fresh built HP (full width 79 Bronco Dana 44 axle) with new matching front gears and a Aussie locker. And even have some Chromoly 4140 axle shafts (long and short) for the inside.

Update...it still just sets and the battery is now dead. One tire is almost flat, and I still need to just swap out the complete front axle. The shop is full of the other Bronco anyway.
Update SCDD, Same Chit, Different Day. Have not wanted to go out in 0* weather and 8" of snow and even look at it. But now it is 60* + and snow is gone. I still have a plan to work on it this spring, just have to get the other Bronco out the garage. Man I need a bigger garage.....
So tomorrow morning I am going to get a pile of stock early Bronco suspension parts. Parts like radius arms w/C bushings, front coil springs, trac bar, rear leaf springs. Steering linkage, Dana 44 axle shafts (both sides inner and outers) and a OEM steering box and p/s pump.
So just in case the ol Wing Man needs some parts changed out, when I do the front axle swap, I'll have some on hand.
So those parts are still just setting around "in case" they are needed. I did go air up the tire and got it to start, even took it for a back 40 2wd fast lap. Waiting on my buddy to get off the road doing his "out of town" gig. And then we will get the axle swap accomplished.
