Quick little video of a truck I am building for a customer. This truck is a 1964 F100 Flareside SWB. He wanted to swap in the new CV front suspension for all of the upgraded geometry, steering and braking, but keep the original height and stance so we did a lifted CV swap. I am using a complete drivetrain from a low mileage Grand Marquis, with the rear end and all. His plan is to run white wagon wheels and clear the patina after some rust repair. We will run Vintage Air, all new wiring harness from American Autowire and engine/transmission harness from Hotwire Auto.
Made a little more progress on this little truck. I was able to get some help to get the cab remounted to the freshly blasted and painted frame with all new hardware and bushings,. Then, completed all of the plumbing, all new brakes from the pedal out, a Tanks Inc tank installed with all new PTFE line. I have started the Lokar floor shifter install since some of it is way easier before the drive train is installed. Next up will be to mock up the new tilt column and modify the firewall for it and repair the hole left from the old column. All new bushings for the leaf springs and shackles are also on the list. I dread these!
