A new daily driver F 150 '78 4x4 for the rest of the time.
There were also a few boxes of parts.
The Ford is running, but still needs to be inspected and registered. Tomorrow it will be unloaded and this week I will take stock of what needs to be done and think about how best to tackle it.My other report of course continues.

That was done for now. The goal is to remove the rear fuel tank. This would also require the trailer hitch with the rear bumper to be on. It took me a while, but it worked.
Then drained the old petrol. The whole workshop smelled. Me too.
The tank is outside. If the weather cooperates today I will blast and prime the tank. Then the first work is already done.
I still have a few questions for the experts. The spare wheel is mounted on the loading area. Is it mounted at this point on my original model?
and why was this pipe installed?
I managed a little. Things will really continue in two weeks. then I have time for the truck. A trip to England with the Harley is planned this week.

Hang on to that spare tire holder, they are hard to find.
That pipe was most likely for a crane. Some farmers and commercial trucks had them. We had one in our 1984 F250 in the farm when I was a kid.

Personally I prefer the spare tire to be in the bed of the truck rather than under it.
