I went with the following LED Fog Light Bulbs...
They have been in for about a year... No Problems. Run them always on
What exactly is the benefit of driving with fog lights on all the time. I've had several vehicles with fog lamps and never really experienced a benefit, especially when it's not foggy.
What exactly is the benefit of driving with fog lights on all the time.
Fog lights light the road much lower than headlights so as to not reflect as much light back into the driver's eyes. This is mostly beneficial when driving slow in a dense fog.
I have an 03, but I did swap almost every bulb over to LED,
I do some sort of this to just about every vehicle I own.
The brightness and richer color is nice, but i do it mostly because if you buy quality ones they last a very long time and put less of a tax on the battery/charging system then conventional bulbs do.
Iv used alot of Superbrightled.com's bulbs. They arent the cheapest but they have never let me down (have had some in a daily since 2010 with zero problems), and there customer service is good.
On my Super duty I did all the interior lighting bulbs, glove box light, cargo light, License plate bulbs, and reverse light bulbs in cool white, all the brake lights, and rear turn bulbs In Red LED's, and all the marker bulbs and front turn signals in orange Led's. They are all Much brighter then they where before.
All the lights you mention hardly do any tax on your electrical system. Compared to your starter it's all peanuts. Also, most of them are not even in use most of the time when driving. I think most people are interested in improved lighting, especially for the headlights. I have yet to hear anyone say that LED head lights were an improvement for where you want it most; longer throw in front of the vehicle.
I am tired of the ballasts on my HIDS acting up- What would be a good set to get for my headlights on my 2014 f250?
I would recommend these 2 options they are the same light but branded differently they both have a warranty, I and guys here have had good success so far with them. I have the auxbeam branded ones here
They have a good cutoff like the halogen bulds as well as a functional high beam unlike a lot of options. There is no ballast they just plug right in. For the price these lights can’t be beat by anything else on the market today that I have been able to find.
Here is the thread in the 2017 forum discussing these lights if you want to read through it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...eadlights.html

And the other guys have the beamtech versions in their trucks https://www.amazon.com/BEAMTECH-Head.../dp/B06XHCQ8KY

My truck's a bit older as a 2004 but I'm making the slow transition to LED all over. So far since I've owned the truck: One of the cargo lights in my high-stop has been out since I've owned the truck (but it had never bothered me enough to fix because I knew at one point the whole assembly was going to be LED), one of the roof markers went so all five of those are all LED, one of the rear license plate lights went so those two went LED, and about three weeks ago one brake light finally went so those are both LED.
Tonight, I'm in the process of looking at new headlight housings (which I will throw LED 9007 socket bulbs and whatever the side marker lamps use into) and LED/ high-stop assemblies and so that completes exterior LED lights.
For my truck I changing all of these as necessary because out of complete honesty, I can't see Jack-s*** at night with low beams or my back-up lights. They might be at the end of their lives which is fine because they're becoming LED regardless but 1. They'll look better (I prefer the 8000K white as opposed to whatever the Hell halogen is, 2. They'll last longer, and 3. Like I said, they're brighter (at least what I'm getting).
The lights on your truck are hopefully better I'd assume because it's much newer, but I think if you're considering LED that you should go for it. They're going to be bright and they aren't overly difficult to change at all. Taillights come off with two bolts, roof lights are one screw each, high-stop is two screws, and your head lights will be the pain in the a** part even if you're not fitting an entirely new housing just because they're sheerly difficult to get in and out. But it's worth it if you're even slightly unhappy with your lights now.
I look at my new tail, license plate and roof lights now and say to myself "yeah, that's nice" and I can't wait to see my truck like that. The one thing now is cops must be really happy because they can actually see my rear license plate at night now...
I didn’t do any scientific testing or anything but I went into it thinking I would just try them and return them when I wasn’t happy with the performance or pattern and got pissed off enough about not having high beams and do the hid retrofit. That being said I was sold before I made it to the end of my driveway granted it’s pretty long driveway, the lows have a cutoff and patten that mimics the halogen bulbs distance wise they’re not throwing light 5 times futher down the road than the halogens but there is a little more distance while not being obnoxious to other drivers the high beams work like they should as well but are also not throwing light 5 times further down the road either but I do think there is some distance gained there as well simply due to the fact they are brighter than the halogens. I didn’t measure beam patterns or lumens at a distance or anything like that. Just had the lights adjusted to the ford specs and rechecked the aim after I put in the leds. The leds needed to face 3 and 9 o clock in the housings to produce the correct pattern and they did so no need to use adjustment collar on the light for me and the cutoff was still perfect right below my tape line on the wall just like the halogen.

There's this video and a few others of theirs that explains beam patterns, cut-off, brightness, etc etc...
I would seriously consider trying the bulbs I linked instead I’m not real impressed with headlight revolution lots of guys have had issues with them flickering in the new trucks and they can’t seem to explain it or find a decent fix then some truck are fine so who knows what’s going on there, the guys running the ones I linked aren’t having any issues with the flickering so there’s that. Between their rediculous price tag and silly heat sinks, and the driver you had to mount somewhere, and some not so great reports from people on here is why I tried my lights since they had the same led chip positioning and I’m really glad I did. Their videos are decent though if you need help removing a light or something I’ve watched a few just for the heck of it.
