Installing a garbage disposal at mom's. Have to change a defective GFCI outlet and some lamp cords too. If there's time after that, I'm going to go wheel off our new lot and see how long the driveway is and take a few other measurements. How's work Doug?

Always considering other options. Thanks John...

Sounds like you have a full day ahead of you, and all of those seem to be relatively fun projects. I'm not a huge fan of hanging out under the kitchen sink to change out disposals, but it isn't terrible.

Work is fine. All of the units are cooperating for now, although the weather could use an attitude adjustment! Have fun and stay safe!

Really nice day here today, 55 degree high. I did all sorts of fun stuff! Cleaned pellet stove, raked leaves out of my favorite ditch by the road, and cleaned one of the front porch posts the squirrels destroyed.

Did book 2 camping trips, Lake George in June and Lancaster county pa in August to take Mikey to Dutch Wonderland. It's an amusement park geared toward the (littler) little monsters. Just need to get the ball going on July, September and October trips now. Requested site 172 Rodney, we'll see what happens.

Made it to the Detroit Auto Show..... Most disappointing, Lincoln Navigator, most impressive new VW Atlas. Place was packed and Alfa Romeo had a large presence at the show.

New transmissions and Hybrids seemed to be the trend along with creature comforts to stay connected.

Ford Ranger Concept (Lariat)

Kind of on the fence about pricing, Ranger lariat? I think with the direction Ford took it missed the simplistic of the old Ranger.

That's what guys used to say about full sized trucks John. "Whaddya need all those options for... it's a truck!" And the rest is history.... Options sell no matter the platform....

Just my opinion after seeing it in person. It might pull sales from the F150 because it looks larger than expected and optioned rather well.

What really happens is, options help the man sell his wife on the truck.

I like that.... The bummer, since it was a prototype, no touchy no sit in it. Same as this beauty, Tribute to Dan Gurney.

My thoughts are the same on the ranger, but i know a few guys offline that are holding out for one. Not worried about saving money, just want a small truck. Unfortunately they don't have unlocked examples at the show until they hit the dealer lots.

Just for you Rodney.

I didn't bother walk the Lincoln display, so no thoughts on its navigator cousin.

I missed the Houston Auto show this year. I am supposed to be going to the Houston RV show next weekend though. It's too bad I didn't make the auto show though, as I have at least briefly considered keeping my current truck for ranch duty and heavy pulling, and getting something smaller and more economical for my 130 mile daily commute for work. It would either be the Diesel F-150, or the Ranger. I try to stay away from looking at new trucks until I'm ready to buy though, because they usually follow me home when I do look.

I haven't cared much for the Navigators or any of the Lincoln SUVs for the last several years. I've owned several in the past though and enjoyed them when I had them.

Rodney, did you accomplish all of your goals yesterday?
