Keep up the good work, Aaron. You're going to have one beautiful truck when you're done.

Well we got a few things done yesterday. Two good friends came over and motivated me lol.
midship tank and skid plate in.
Transfer case skid plate in.
Main frame wiring harness installed and hung.
RSK crossmember bolted in and ready for springs.
Sadly I'm an idiot and somehow ordered a bronco rear fuel tank instead of a f26e. Supposedly they fit but I'm going to sell it and buy what I want.
We also got the rear housing cleaned up a bunch. I'm going to clean some more on it and get it assembled asap.
I attempted also to remove the windshield and broke it to pieces. I'm not sure I have ever seen adhesive that tough. I never could get it to cut.grr
Now I need 2 windshields.
Moving along at a snail's pace...

The bronco fuel tank will work. I think the same diesel shop that did the F26E write up did one for the bronco fuel tank. You can just use a bronco sending unit too because it ohms out the same.

I know but I am not using it. I have installed the truck unit before and it fits effortlessly. The bronco tank did not fit as well imo . It's narrow and taller and I just don't like it.

F26e on the way maybe tonight

Keep up the good work, man. I know it seems like 1 step forward and 2 back, but they're all steps that must be taken. I really wish I were closer. I'd love to come turn some wrenches and chew the fat.

I do enjoy the 38 gallon rear tank. 56 gallons of fuel capacity is very nice to have for hauling and long road trips. Only issue is that I apparently didn't lengthen the float arm enough (per the write up measurements) so when I'm on "E" I have about 10 gallons left in the tank and idk how many I have after I it reads full because it takes some time to move.

When you do the windshield could you take some pictures of the process and the tools you used? I'm looking at doing this on my truck soon and would like a few pointers. Thanks
