So I have had my truck now about 25 years, now it gets driven time to time and stays covered allot. I decided to make it more of a daily driver but of course these little 352's are not known for great mileage. I have a pretty new motor I say new because I found a non-rebuilt but new short block in a warehouse where it sat crated for about 40 years and I bought it so it only has about 25K on the motor.
Anyhow, I have seen people put spacers for all sorts of reasons and was wondering would it help performance in installing on on the truck and maybe help improve mileage? Oh and been gone awhile glad to be back..
I have an inverted 2 to 4bbl on my 360. 2 bbl intake with Mr. gasket 4-2 reducer flip up side down so it goes from a 2 bbl to a 4 bbl (was that redundant?) it’s the only way I could get that pig to run. And run she does!
^^^^ That statement is a passive-agressive way of asking where one can be located... don't play games.. just ask!!!
Holley and others have offer 2-bbl carb spacers thru Summit Racing.
A spacer won't do much if anything for MPG.
There is no magic bullet... the engine, trans, rear axle, parasitic drag, rolling resistance, aerodynamics all work as a system so improved efficiencies can cumulatively help MPG.

Your joking right?
I asked first if one would work on it, having no idea if they still make them or have to be fabricated I then asked wonder if they make one. We are talking a 50 year old truck here how and why would I assume there is one out there for it? I just remember why I steered clear of this group for three years I was wondering why I had not returned, some of you guys just jump right all over people when they are not 100% sure of something. Even today read several threads where people just get all cocky and sheet. Stuff like this is why people wont ask sometimes, as rather then help it was first important to you to be rude and smartarse.
Thanks for the responses and unneeded sarcasm. I will go ask the people at the other group I belong to have a super great day.

No joke... just ask. No hints are necessary. We are here to help.
A spacer makes the carburetor "seem" slightly larger to the engine or somesuch by increasing the plenum size. The best thing about them is they insulate the carb a little bit from engine heat. Vapor lock and fuel percolation can be a real problem in hot climates. Carburetor tuning (jet size and power valve selection especially) and distributor advance curving will bump up the performance and mileage quite a bit. Once smog era controls were put into place mileage took a back seat because of the strategies they had to employ.

Poster, it is common here and is known as the MR. SNARKY SYNDROME. Many here are overly aggressive and the forums not modulated to hopefully control it.
