The wiring already exists in the truck. All that is needed is to install the appropriate cluster using the same connectors that are plugged into the old cluster; dependent on year and fuel type. The speedometer is swapped out for the original to maintain the correct vehicle mileage; otherwise mileage shown would be for whatever you got the tach cluster out of.

I finally got around to the interior. I plan on changing the interior color to red, adding leather panels, an overhead console , wood trim, and new carpet and headliner.

I love the look of your dash!
I did some interior work today, swapped out a bunch of bulbs in the cluster and the a/c panel, I got rid of that ugly 90s green and now I'm on to blue led's

Made her do some work around the yard too

Finally took my truck to work today after a good month.

Did a Dana 60 swap on my F250. Also fuel pump was bad.
new parts.. Not all d9ne today. Dana 60, steering box, leaf spring bushings, new front fuel tank, power steering lines, lift pump, cleaned motor up, f350 Pittman arm, tie rods and shocks.. Oh and brake pads, calipers, rotors and bearings. I did not know kingpin axles had smaller brakes.

Question for you guys.. Anyone know how to check gear ratio without cracking my diff case open?

Also I kept my TTB axles front driveshaft hold down.. Driveshaft fits into the dana 60s but feels tight. Needs u-joints on it and know which gears before i keep it in there though.

Edit: here's some pics for you guys. From stock f250 ttb 2 pack leaf springs (like 20lbs heavier than 2 pack f350 springs) to a 1990 kingpin f350 Dana 60 axle with stock 2 pack leaf springs.
also note: drivers side cab mount is rotted out and sits lower than passengers side. This drop is not as big compared to the passengers now with the Dana 60.

Check the body lines with rhe f250 rear lift blocks. Planning on getting the f350 blocks in the coming weeks.also the lift isnt just camera angle.

Best part so far.. No bump steer and big difference in the turning radius. It's comparable to an OBS F150 now. I like the ride but just need an alignment yomorrow.

There are some YouTube videos that show you how to check gear ratios without cracking the diff open.

Basically you have to jack up the rear rnd and turn a rear tire and count the revolutions of the tire and and driveshaft.

Check the videos though for complete details.

Get tires off the ground. On front wheels, 4x4 hubs will need to be engaged. With rear wheels, tranny in neutral. Although if your axle isn't under the truck all that doesn't obviously matter...

Make a paint mark or distinguishing reference mark on driveshaft or pinion yoke. You're basically counting revolutions of the driveshaft for one complete revolution of the tire. In a 4.10, the driveshaft will do just a hair more than 4 revolutions. 3.73 would be 1/4 turn short of 4 revs, 3.55 will be 3 1/2 turns. Etc.

Pretty easy.

Rebuilt the right drum brake this past weekend after I noticed the cylinder bleeding fluid pretty profusely. Never been in a drum brake, so that was a learning experience for me! No fun at all. I’ll redo the left one at some point so that they wear more or less the same.

Today a buddy helped me bleed the brakes so I could actually start driving it again. Took her for a little joy ride after that.

Lots more to get into. Long list of maintenance & upgrades planned!

Had one of my rear sliding windows break. Picking up a replacement tomorrow.

How hard are they to get out? Or how do you do it?

Wanna ask first before I go try to figure it out myself.

Google search turned up results that it's easy, but didn't really explain how.

Well, I answered my own question.

The window has two sections that warp around the windows to keep it all together, and they're riveted.

I decided to pick up a nice solid pane of glass from the yard for $25, and installed it. I much prefer the visibility I have with a solid piece versus being broken up by the sliders.

All I've gotta do now is tint it to match.

It has taken me a while to get to this point but damn it looks good. I thought about just leaving it open just so I could look at it
Still have to replace the alternator wires but it’s getting close
Unfortunately I had to add wires and hoses but it’s stll shiny
New grill new lights new everything. Couple more hoses and some fuel lines and she’s done. Just praying she starts

Wrote my car off 3 weeks ago so it's time to get the pig back on the road... New batteries, stereo, amps speakers and subwoofer, 2 new power window motors and 2 new driveshafts...

New licenses plates and a wash and wax and it's on the road again after a 8 year hiatus!
