Got the family up here with me with the pets, house it battened down, and thank God for good friends with trailers. They managed to get the Chevelle out of the garage and into high and safe ground.

Not expecting a lot of damage, but first hurricane with the brand new house... ugh

Praying for you, your family and all the others in the South TX region to be safe. Please take care.

Some of the media outlets are making it sound like Corpus Christi will become Noah's Ark. Better safe than sorry. Please take precautions.

We're a couple hundred miles away with an old military friend of mine

Chevelle is in an eight story car park on the 7th floor, along with a friend's 69 Camaro. Took the wheels off both of them AND chained them together, then left them on bricks just in case someone tries to make off with them

I-25 south of Castle Rock. Nice looking Ex with a big Jayco trailer. Even had fire wood in the roof rack. I've seen more Ex's in three hours in Colorado than I do in a week in GA/AL.

Wife decided at last minute to take Uber to the Braves game, I was on the phone seeking the mammon so I wasn't paying attention.

About halfway to the park I realize I'm still weaponized, no problem they have lockers. Lockers yes, but you must provide the actual lock.

Saw the local constabulary, showed my permit and he said "no other option". Called a friend who drove to the game and I placed it in her vehicle. I guess it was a better option than going to home and back.

I carry all the time so it's like second skin. Got called for jury duty... ooops, deputy just took possession and thanked me for being a responsible citizen. I'm sure it's not like that everywhere.

I would walk back to my truck, in that case.

When we drive, wife always reminds me to lock it in the glove box...

Quick post **** grammar

Power out water is rising and we're trapped

If second wave is same as first we're losing everything house vehicles all of it

Truck almost out of gas and no phone cord to charge

Aiming for highest ground possible and praying

Love y'all and pray HARD

Exchanged messages with some good friends in Missouri City, TX and (for them) the most dangerous aspect is the tornadoes.
