I saw that too, but that post could be very misleading as no information was given. It could be an android based device that was installed and it is using Android Auto to show that data. That would have nothing in common with what it would take to show the cameras.

 

Well I know where I read before you could link cameras Bluetooth to that android device there isn't much info out there just yet.

Is it able to pull the video feed from the existing cameras or just allow additional feeds? It would be great if you could connect a recording device to it so that the front and rear cameras operated as a dash cam.

 

No...Basically composite video in.
Depending in the camera configuration you have, some cameras are digital coax and some are analog

 

I'm going to get a slide-in truck camper. Since I have to remove my tailgate, that camera will be unplugged. I am thinking of getting the one Ford sells for the trailers and the matching plug to put in place of the tailgate. Wouldn't allow view while driving of course, but would have a backup camera on the camper.
Any thoughts?

Hey everyone, done some Forscan mods today. I can confirm the following.

APIM Raptor theme
IPC Temps, average speed, dpf filter status.

Also using info from f150 forum user DanMc85 we can add the option to enable global window 'Remote Close' by changing IPC - 720-02-01: *xxx xxxx xxxx change * to B. This is functional on my F350 Plat.

 

Hey guys, what's the deal with 5 columns in the spreadsheet (26-30) for the global window open/close? Are there changes needed in each one? This is one I have't done yet but would like to.

 

All are needed. The last two are the modules for the drivers door (DDM) and passengers door (PDM). The first three are the body control Module (BCM)

What is global window remote close? Is this for when you hold the lock button the windows close? So this option 720-02-01 adds the ability to enable/disable from the Instrument Cluster?

 

Nevermind. I got it working...

 

I just turned on the DPF% (line 59 on the spreadsheet) on my XLT. It's working, but I'm getting the Front Camera Malfunction error now, although the error screen cleans when I hit Okay, and the cameras appear to be working fine... is this a trip to the dealer?
