What did they charge for that? I may have that done next time, took me forever to do it myself!

The brake flush was around $100.

The remove the old fluid, add some sort of cleaning fluid, then flush with new brake fluid. My master cylinder looks brand new again.

I may go ahead and have them do that sometime. I don't know if I got all of that crap out of there. I know that causes problems with these calipers.

Yeah, I figured for the 100 bucks, it was well worth them doing the flush.

That's really not bad at all. I figure they'd gouge you for a couple hundred at least.

Just had my front calipers replaced because they had been sticking. Guess I need to check if they replaced the hoses and fluid.

I really don't think my hose was the cause of the caliper hanging up. My slide pins were fine and would float back and forth. The pads were a little stuck in the caliper bracket. The clips that make the pads spring back from the rotor were rusted up a bit and I think between the inner pad not releasing from the rotor and possible caliper piston not releasing was the culprit.

I did got a new caliper and bracket from NAPA for free since these has a lifetime warranty.
