Believe it or not...I have to avoid things like celery...it's 95% water...and...with my kidney function at around 15%...water consumption must be limited.

That's true. Guy I worked with was on Dialysis. Had to carefully watch the amount of stuff he drank in the office. Just enough to stay hydrated but not more then that. My aunt was the same way. Had to watch her fluid intake. My grandmothers brother also had to do that.

It's a beotch...but...just the price I have to pay for ignoring my health all these years. The alternative isn't too appealing at this point.

Cutting down on the scrapple would be a good place to start. Hopefully you won't wait until you have a health crisis to work on yourself. I'll get off my soap box now.

I actually dont eat alot of scrapple anymore Ken. I have even cut back on stuff like bacon as well. Still keep the bacon on hand but dont eat it as often as I used to. Also working on cutting out eating out as much as possible. I know there will be times where I will have toeat out but I am trying not to eat out alot. Not only willthat help the wasit line but it helps the bank account.

Same here. If I do drink soda, it is diet Pepsi or Coke and I may have one when eating out and the same at home.

Skim milk is coming right up Neil. I use skim milk as well. Have not had whole milk in a long time. I keep a small container of half and half in my fridge to use for scrambled eggs. Otherwise skim milk is it.

I've been a black coffee guy for years...I can no longer tolerate it with cream and sugar.

I also use splenda to sweeten alot of things anymore. I keep a very small amount of regular sugar and brown sugar on hand at home for certain things.

I have very little soda...haven't in about 3 years. The sugar in regular soda will kill you...the chemicals in diet soda will do the same.
