I wouldn't go that far.
To me, the hero is the boy riding the trike.
It is not cheap to build a trike. I think it is a shame that they do not have these already manufactured for cheaper than what it costs to build.
There are many children that could benefit from affordable trikes sold through the big box stores. The mongoose itself was only 75 bucks. The rest was the expense.
I was lucky enough to have good friends, family, and a good boss that helped out. My boss gave me the material to build the toybox plus use of the shop and equipment.
My cousin works at a bodyshop and everyone there knows me. I asked if they could match the paint for me and they answered by painting it for me.
The manager at advance auto has known me for awhile. I wanted to buy a couple of small items and he would not sell them to me. They gave them to me.
My parents chipped in on some accessories and i just assembled it all together.
It takes a village.
It was really just networking like we do here at fte. There are alot of good people still out there.
What I did to my truck, Big Blue, today was to try to understand its fuel pump relay wiring. I've explained my consternation in the Big Blue thread, and I'd really appreciate it if those of you with knowledge of the 460's wiring could take a look.
Basically, Big Blue does not conform to the EVTM nor the actual schematics. And, the wiring hasn't been hacked. Help!

Wiring has definitely been hacked.
Do YOU see shrink tubing on any other connector of any stock harness?
Subford has a good picture of the pressure switch and the connector.
BTW, I did find that trailer harness but it has an F5 engineering # so it must be for one of the Powerstroke's I've worked on.
I'll send it along.
It's been chilly the past few days and my starter doesn't seem to like it.
Not sure why temperatures in the teens would cause the starter to grind and skip, but I have noticed it is louder lately.
I'm going to get under there this afternoon and change it before the foot or more of snow gets here Monday night.

Jim - I replied in Big Blue's thread to keep everything together. But, thanks for the response and THANK YOU for the trailer harness!
As for the snow, boy am I glad we no longer live in the Philly area! That has to be getting old. Take care, and I hope the truck starts.
