I have about 50 gallons on board too. (48 to be exact.) Those tanks were full on both tickets though. The water added a lot of weight but it's placement is neutral over my axles. 150 gallons...
What tires should I be getting on my '17 250 CC 4WD short bed with 20s?
Need more info. At this point all I can tell you is that you need 4 black ones. What are you going to do with your truck?
Obviously with an F250 you're not planning on pulling heavy trailers, but let us know.
Steer is dependent on hitch position in the bed as well as load in the garage on mine Randy. I have mine in the more rear position and my steer actually goes down by 140 when hooked up with the garage empty. However, when I put 2k in the garage, my truck sets a little more level with less pin and therefor the steer stays exactly the same. Mine never goes up but I'm guessing if I reversed my hitch, moving my pin forward 1.5", it might.
My pin was about 1.5" forward of the axle centerline. I can't seem to find the scan I did of the truck by itself, but the front end went up a couple hundred pounds as I recall..

Yes I still have it. It is parked for the foreseeable future in an RV Resort in AZ.
Yes, I may have to drag that monster with the gasser, but a few hundred miles wringing its neck would be about the most I could see moving it.. more than likely it would be less than 50 miles.

Once I get the new truck in the spring, I will do just that...

Sorry I didn't word that very well. My question is what tires come with the truck?
If you ordered AT's, you'll get either Michelin LTX AT2's or Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure. Hope for the second if you ever see snow. The Michelin's are closer to AS than AT.

Interesting at the Ford store this afternoon that some late delivery 2016 were next to the 3 2017's and a couple of them had BFG AT tires. Different store yesterday had Continental AS on a truck and a mix of GY and Michelin AT's on other '17s. Called my dealer and explained after all this wait BS I expect to be able to specify a tire I want and they should supply it. No talk of money but they agreed. I am strongly looking at the 295/70R18 M+S LT Michelin. Mainly for the 4080 lb single tire rating.
The Conti AS are the standard 17/18/20 AS tire for Ford for years. Great highway tire but hideous otherwise. Interesting you saw some BFG's. Must be "limited editions."

I know their reputation and that is why they caught my eye so quickly. They almost looked like the donut tires in the wheel well of an F350.
