I am back in the Ford truck owners club with my purchase of............
I bought Corner Gas's 52 1/2 ton he was selling. Colin and i have been trading emails since October i think, when Morris sent me a link to it. Not sure how i over looked the ad back then. Went this past weekend to Roleau and picked it up and I was VERY pleased to see the condition it is in. I drooled all the way home Colin !
Currently the truck is stashed at Fordtruck chapter head quarters....thanks Boss man. Once the highways get better I will tow it the rest of the way home.
Plans for it.......
NO body work ! upgrade suspension, steering and brakes, install a 428 C6 i have layin around, and drive it.
Dont wait for me though i have the plymouth to get on the road this summer and some home renos to finish......or my wife's new husband will finish all that for me.
And now.....presenting.....the Kamsack truck........

Only reason why I find that 49 kinda cool is I really guess that conversion was done way way back when... guessing truck did some kinda logging work or something like. Which I find kinda cool
