Some of us............cough, cough...................still go to work every day..........cough, cough, cough. Don't always have time to play on the internet............cough, cough.

Besides, I'm just a dumbazz and can't spout off part numbers like I'm spelling my name...................

I started when FTE wasn't all this(before it was bought out). I fell away for a few years, then came back. I enjoy trying to help, though that doesn't always work .

Yes, it was in the glove box along with the original owners manual (which is in terrible shape) but the owneres manual has the purchase date in it, December 30, 1966.

The hole for the radio had some POS radio in it that had been riveted to the dash, yes RIVETED. Six more holes to fix...

Exactly. The best part, the fan still works. Now to get the heater core hooked back up.

BUT, no heater controls under the radio delete panel, like a typical '67 would have.

That musta been one very strippo, low buck truck. Is that one of those all metal guage clusters that someone brought up a few weeks ago??

By the looks of the heater hoses, someone bypassed it.
Looks to be an oil bath air cleaner?? My '67 had paper element with heat riser off right exhaust manifold.
Yes, very low buck truck. The gauge surround is all metal with what may be the original screws holding it in.

Looks to be the original oil bath air cleaner as well. It is soaking in Kerosene right now, maybe I will take some pics of the horror that comes out

Get you a Ford CD or a scanned copy of some Ford books then its just Copy/Paste, Copy/Paste!! HAHA. I love giving ND a hard time, especially when he is wrong!
All jokes aside, Numberdummy does give this forum alot of useful information.

.
1997: Had to walk away (carefully) from 100 grand a year due to spinal stenosis. Loved the job, but with spinal stenosis, the channels in the lower vertabrae are narrow. Nerve pinches, legs go numb, careful, or you'll fall down.

So now I'm doing the same job on the internet (for free) and I treat it as such, it's not a plaything.

Sure, you bet, get Ford parts catalogs on CD's, but there's no CD's of Master Cross Reference or O-S-I (Obsolete-Supercede-Interchange) Catalogs and originals are hard to find on paper or microfiche.

If you don't have these (like I do), you're flying blind, because: Ford is in-famous for replacing 10's of 1000's of part numbers EVERY YEAR!

1988/89: FoMoCo changed the package quantity of a gazillion parts. When the IDIOTS did this, they changed the part numbers suffixes, rendering all the previous part numbers obsolete!

So, you should not go by part number prefixes to ID what the part fits or what year vehicles it was used on.

Recent william2 example = C9TZ-13550-A (replaced C4TZ-13550-A), replaced by DOTZ-13350-A .. R & L Styleside Bumper License Lamp / 1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/73 F100/350.

Does not fit all 1964/72's as DC claims, who has the wrong part number (C9TZ-13550-A) listed in his catalog (so what else is new?), where william2 got it from.

wh17y,

In addition to liking the 67 model (got one of my own!) i love the color of yours!! Green is an all time favorite, and I had a VW beetle from the mid 60's in a very similar color as your truck. Hands down still my favorite VW color of the era.

In this case, the (C9TZ-13550-A) license plate assembly will fit the rear bumper (C4TZ-17906-B) that DC sells and they will also fit the rear bumper from LMC (49-9542). The DOTZ-13350-A you listed is the updated number for the part, but your not going to find that part listed in DC......so there was no need to list that number for him.

As far as they dont fit all 64-72.......yes, they do. The lamp assembly hole in the rear bumper is the exact same diameter from 64-72.....the part number was just replaced as you listed above. The lamp assembly changed their look in 73, and as a matter of fact, the D3TZ-13550-A lamp assembly listed in the DC catalog will fit the bumper as well, it just would not be correct for our model trucks.

No they don't, because you're unaware of the following:

1957/60 Styleside Beds installed on the following 1961/66's: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD.

The Styleside rear bumpers and license lamps used with 1957/60 beds are specific. Not the same as 1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD that use a different design of Styleside bed, bumper and license lamp.

C1UZ-13550-A (replaced B7C-13550-A) .. License Lamp Assy.

Styleside bumper applications: 1957/60 F100/350 / 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD

Applications: 1961/64 Econoline / 1965/67 Econoline Pickup.
---------------------------------------------------------
DOTZ-13550-A (replaced C9TZ-13550-A & C4TZ-13550-A) .. License Lamp Assy.

Styleside bumper applications: 1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/350 / 1973 F100/350 before serial number R40,001.

When you're in this biz and own cars that parts aren't that EZ to find, the bezel/lens used w/these lamps are almost identical to the bezel/lens used on 1953/56 Packards, fit perfectly.

??????
I never said anything about pre 1963 or earlier rear bumpers.........I said 1964-72 chrome rear bumpers are the same. The rear lamp assembly is also the same for the chrome rear bumpers between 64-72 and they changed design in 73. Anyone who has a 64-66 ford truck will tell you the same thing. If you order a chrome rear bumper from any truck parts supplier right now, whether its DC, NPD, Mac's, etc. you will find that the 64-72 rear chrome bumpers are the exact same thing. 57-60 will not fit styleside pickups. I guess I will have to agree to disagree with you.

Wanna bet?

You can disagree all you want to, but the facts are, I'm right and you're wrong.

1964/66 F100/350 Stylesides: TWO different types of rear bumpers, TWO different types of brackets, TWO different types of license lamps.

The difference is: 1964/65 F100/250 4WD, 1964/66 F350 & 1966 F250 4WD used 1957/60 Styleside beds.

1957/60 Styleside beds installed on the following 1961/66's: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 (9' Express) / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD.

1961/66 forum: 1957/60 Styleside beds are called the "wrong bed" because the bed lines do not match up to the cab lines.

Look at my earlier post in the LMC rear bumper thread. Im not talking about the B7C-17906-D rear bumper......Im talking about the rear chrome bumper, C4TZ-17906-B, which is the same bumper from 64-72. That is the bumper that the OP wants! The light assembly, C9TZ-13550-A, I listed from DC will fit that bumper from LMC, NPD, MAC's or DC, regardless of where he gets it from, as long as it is the same rear chrome bumpers that excepts the rear lamp assemblies. Now if you disagree with me please feel free to contact all these suppliers and see how they "magically" made the lamp assemblies fit the C4TZ-17906-B rear bumper.

Yes, I realize that the C4TZ-17906-B is the rear bumper the OP wants.

But you cannot state that this bumper is the same 1964/72, because TWO DIFFERENT BUMPERS were used 1964/66.
