OH, HELL YEAH!!!! I even know the paint codes for that one!
When do we start??!!
Oh wait, better hold off a couple weeks. Last night my elbow was bothering me again. Sharp stinging, stabbing pains. As I was getting a shower I noticed a bone in my forearm sticking out about 1/4" farther than my other arm. It hurts when I touch the spot there, too. I'm gonna go get this looked at before something bad happens. I may have to take a break for a week or two. As soon as I get my driveway back, I'll be taking it easy for a bit.
The guy with the Dodge last night said he's getting a check from the insurance company because he totaled his car. He said he was going to buy my 'Vette when he did. We'll see. I hate to see it go, but I REALLY want to buy a house this year!
hey good luck on the corvette sale!!! alan ya better get that arm looked at.. in case i need somebody to pick the head up out of my truck.ha ha ha ........ how many gallons of paint would it take to get my bus looking like that 34..i would imagine i will need a few rolls of tape and sandpaper too.. i have been doing fairly well on selling vintage parts so maybe i can get the engine back to humming soon.. i am thinking about selling that 65 and 69 impala 2 dr. h/t cars i have for what ever over scrap price they would bring.. i need to slim down my collection and put some funds into the bank
RC, I'm gonna guess that 2 gallons of black, two gallons of sunset and one gallon of burnt orange. Plus about 3 gallons of primer. That's my best estimate. I'm not sure I should buy the Impala because the whole reason to sell my toys is to buy a house. I know I shouldn't get another project until the Chevelle is done and parked in a garage I own.
I got the top buttoned up on the '97 Ford. (thanks again, Bob!) I fired it up again and it's missing. I'm sure the firing order is wrong. Other than that, it seems to be doing better. I guess the truck is just ticked off because I woke it up after sleeping for two years.
Happy New Years gentlemen, through I'd stop by before I head to bed (got up at 0200).

Sounds like when the FRA shows up, nothing good ever comes from one of their "visits".

Don't feel bad Rich, here it is New Year's Eve and I'm FTE-ing from a 5th wheel in the wild town of Nevada, MO. On call all-weekend (again) and the family couldn't come up two weeks in a row. So I guess I'll catch up on the forums.

Holy smokes, that 2nd photo you uploaded Rich is going to my garden in the spring.
Evening all. We're headed over to Tiff's Mom's house here in a bit.
I got that '97 Ford all buttoned up. I even squeezed the plate that was forgotten in between the engine and trans. (that was fun. ...not really) Anyway, it doesn't run right. I did move it around the side of the house under it's own power though, so that's a small victory. I hope the kid didn't leave a vacuum port open. He also told me that it's not 4.6 that was put back. They gave him a 5.4L for it. I hope that didn't create some computer problems. At least it's all together and I can tinker with it to get it to run now. The hard part is over. .....I hope.
