Torque your plugs when dry for a good reading.

i put a thin layer of anit seize then put them in. tourqed them to 130 inch pounds.. then before putting all the coils back on i went through them all again and let the torque wrench click 3 times on each.. i dont think they will come out. I pray they dont...... when i removed the old ones they came out with ease they were snug but not to snug.. so thats the route i went with these.. I think i put them in a little tighter but that is just me being carefull. it runs great as of now lets pray it lasts and no issues.

AND if anyone have a extra or a stock intake clamp laying around ill gladly pay ya for it... The clamp that holds the piece where the filter is at.. mine broke in half and no one around me has any.. not even the junk yards......

Sorta sounds like the old trivia question: how many grooves does a vinyl record have? Answer two, one per side.
The spark plug has one thread. The question should be how many threads per inch.

Obviously he is speaking of threads counted in a vertical lineal plane. Are you an engineer or just an alarmist ?

Hopefully you have more luck then I have, I changed plugged about 2500 miles ago and finally had one decide to let loose of the third cylinder back from the front on the passenger side. It's looking like an expensive fix.

No, they must be torqued with antiseize on the threads. You never want to put plugs in a modular dry.

I think ford recommends dry. It will affect your torque reading with anything liquid or simi liquid added to the threads. (I have been wrong before and will be again) Does anyone know what Ford says for sure ?

Im not sure what ford says for sure. but i am pretty sure u need the anti seize b.c of the heads being aluminum and the plugs being steel. that creats a bond and then they stock together.. the anti seize is supposed to not let that happen.

I understand that but that doesn't seem to be a problem and I think Ford recommends dry and anything you put on the threads will upset the torque value.

Dam......they have those thread re-doing tools and it's not that far back, luckily. Did you hear a phht, phht noise before it went?

Yup, it sounded like an exhaust leak before it let loose.

I called ford and they said they have sleeves at autozone with a plug that they use. Well put it in, got all but home and blew the sleeve out and shattered another coil pack which makes it a 120 dollar day and still not fixed and now i have even more issues because the sleeve is bigger then the usual plug size, so I have to either try and get another sleeve to seat or put a new head on is what I'm being told now..

I think it's time for the V10 to go, I've had nothing but problems with it since new.
