88 f150 injector prob.please help confused

Ok I get this truck out only for the winter becouse it has a plow.It is an 88 F150 4x4 with a 351w.Ok about 1 month after i parked it ,I went to start it,it started but seemed like it was running on 4 cylinders(no power). Now it has sat for 6 months and wont start at all.I checked spark and had none so I changed the ing.module, now I have spark, then didnt have fuel pressure so I changed the fuel pump relay and that didnt help so I put a fuel pump and that fixed it,It has 30 psi at the schrader valve on the fuel rail, still doesnt run.So I gave it a tune up cap, rotor, plugs and wires.By now I am confused so I pulled the injector rail on the driver side and cranked it and there is no fuel coming out of the injectors,so I thought it might have been the computer so I bought one of them no help at all. Has anyone had a problem like this and knows what it is,this truck has me so sick that i dont even want to look at it.I appreciate all replys, and thanks if you can help me Greg

I've read a couple of threads about those windsors jumping timing, that might be the problem, and of course you're sure that nothing is nesting in the intake, right. Hope it helps,

I forgot to say that I have checked the whole harness that goes from the computer to the injector and egr etc.I thought maybe the plentum gasket was bad that is what someone told me so I replaced the gasket and checked all wires while I had it apart.I did check the timing and it was on tdc,but if the timing was off would that make the injectors not work?

the timing would look fine,as the chain had jumped internally.

Everything would still work, but they wouldn't work in the right order.

you thinking you don't have fuel?

In that case hook it up and cycle it a few times. If the fuel rail is off you can see the fuel spitting everywhere, or if it's in the truck(which I recommend) then you can smell the fas our of the dpark plug holes. Either way these should tell you the injector's story. I thought that since you found pressure at the fuel rail you ruled the fuel system out.

No i am not ruling the fuel system out but I borrowed the fuel pressure guage from a friend that screws on the fuel rail and it has 30 psi.I removed the fuel rail from the intake and cranked it over and when I do that I had figured that the fuel would spray out of the injector but they dont. With a test light I checked them with the key on and both wires (red and black) to the injectors are hot and acording to the book when you check the black wire on the injector with a test light it will pluse everytime the injector is suppose to open but it doesnt is there a relay just for the injectors like there is for the fuel pump? Thanks amish77 for the help

You really won't see the pulse with a test light. You need to get a noid light. They are less than $10 and Autozone has them. This is the correct way to test the output to the injectors. It plugs in the injector plug.

I went out tonight to try some more ressearch and found that it runs fine on starting fluid or if i stray gas out of a bottle to it.The back tank is full of gas and the front says half.I pulled the fuel line off before the fuel pump on the frame rail and both tanks pump gas to the primary pump so that tells me that the tank pumps are working. What does a noid light look like, does it look like a normal little test light. Thanks for the replys

try to force the gas out of the lines with compressed air. If it's between the tank and fuel rail, I'm guessing lines are junked up from something.

Well I wouldnt say anything is blocked.I made a tool that holds the scrader valve open and cranked it and it pumps fuel threw the hose I made so the lines are clean from the fuel pump in the tank to that valve on the fuel rail.

I just wanted to tell you guys what I found.I got the truck running here it turns out after I did somemore research on this computer that if your water temp sensor is bad it will shut down the injectors,so I changed it and it still ran rough so I put a map sensor in it and everything is back to normal so that is what the problems where after all that bullsh@t.I hope someone else remembers this for future reference thx for the replys. Greg
