No wait to start light is most likely a shorted fuel heater. Check the fuses under the hood, if one of them is blown, disconnect the plug on the back of the fuel filter housing, and try another fuse.
I was just about to hit REPLY and post this when I scroll one post further and see Dan's post.

No WTS light means the PCM isn't getting power... and the fuel heater shorting blows fuse #30, which is also protecting the PCM. Sooo.... check fuse #30... it's a 30amp, and I'll betcha it's blown. I hope I'm remembering the number right... check all the fuses just in case.
