My truck has the front bench seat with fold down armrest. I have seen some with a cup holder built into the lid. Can I replace the lid on that?

If your referring to what Tuggly has that is just a "fit in" as I call it, it just more or less "snaps in" as for the cup holder I got I tested it for drink launching abilities and thankfully it failed in that department:)

Next opportunity I get I'll pull it out and look for its part number and post it up for anyone wanting it, what colour is your interior? I'll see if I can find one for you if I got the time over the next few days!

Just recieved my new block heater cord, and the outlet/plug adapter (if you want to call it that) for the truck today (as of post) and will be hopefully installing the block heater cord tomorrow, and once I test fit the Noco "easy access" plug I will put that on the bumper also and hook that bad boy up and enjoy easy access to the block heater plug outlet ;)

Well good news thanks to the help of the group I was able to determine that the block heater cord is bad and the block heater its self works ok!! very happy, now I just need a warm enough day to route the new cord in the original path and remove the old bad cord and then install the NoCo plug thing I got for the bumper!!

Well I just bought a Ram Mount, suction cup system for the truck so I can hold my phone when I want to use it as a GPS (safer then leaving it on the dash blocking the instrument cluster) and got that installed, also got one for the Stang and a tablet holder so I was able to move the holder pieces around a bit! Already been using the one for the truck and just love how it all works very well!

Ah yes I forgot about the obligatory pictures, well didn't help that photo bucket was down either, but here they are

This is in the Stang, but the window mounted one in the truck is exactly the same

In other news, I just purchased a new torque converter, got 10% off so I suppose that helps....

Where you bought your tc from?
I bought a Torco tc triple disc, and has been working really good so far.

I got it from AutoZone (where I work, so I got employee discount on it) im not looking for any thing super special, I just want it to last and get the truck to 1million miles (figure if I can get it there I will be in a position for anewer truck by then anyways...assuming I decide to get another one...

Order the viton seal kit if you don't have it already.

Ok, where should I get that from and do you perhaps have a part number or link? Would riffraff sell this kit?

Is this the correct kit?

http://www.riffraffdiesel.com/mechan...net-combo-kit/

also due to having the TC planned for replacement (having a Diesel shoppe handle this), I am trying to determine if the shop will have to do anything with the valve body and if so I may look into getting a John Woods (or similar) valve body, especially if they adress the weak points in the transmission...

Bently_Coop 01-27-2016 12:05 AM

Doesn't look like RiffRaff has it, if anything call and ask. Check thread below for picture of part number.

Ok called my diesel shoppe and talked a bit with them and they will install any thing I bring :D YAY that makes me really happy now :) so now I am going to start looking into the John Woods valve body stuff (or what ever you guys would suggest), I have decided to make this a 100% torque build for pulling, figure if my friend wants to have a go and perhaps get me into truck pulls I might as well beef the truck up :)

On another note I got my LEDs for the A/C controller and the last bulb for the main part of the cluster (didn't relize one small bulb was part of the speed portion of the cluster but remedied that now) pictures will be coming later tonight when its dark enough to take some with it light up :)

While im at it would like to say thanks again to the brotherhood for all the encouragement I have recieved with my builds and possibly any I do in the future :)

If your thinking about going into truck pulls then a total rebuild of the trans is what you need to do and not just add a valve body. A BTS or John Woods rebuilt trans is what you need.

well seems photobucket is down so no pics for now :( as for the rebuilt transmissions which would be better? BTS or John Woods? Where would (could) I pick one up?
