Riffraff Diesel: RDP AIH Tapped Fitting

I was able to follow along and “git ‘er done” over the course of a couple of weekends. I got the AIH delete plug from Clay at RiffRaff to make the boost hook up easy. I got the Auto Meter Phantom Gauges (boost/tranny/pyro) from JEGS. Overall it took way longer to do than I thought, but I am happy with the outcome. I used a 12x12 piece of Lexan cut to size from Home Depot for the panel for the gauges on the right. Once cut down to size and painted, I then used some nut plates (behind the dash) and fasteners from Ace Hardware to secure it to the dash. I already had an Air Bag gauge with in cab controls, so I just added it to the set up. I mounted the Air Bag switches under the dash to the right of the brake controller sine they were really large and deep. I tried to leave enough room under the gauges on the left to add a toggle later once I get some fog lamps.

Thanks again to everyone here on FTE for the incredible content that a few searches was able to turn up on how to drill and tap the exhaust, the wire colors for power and illumination dimming for the gauges and the pictures especially! You guys rawk! :-jammin

I've never seen pics with gauges installed there, only switches. Very nice.
